India has been able to build an eco-system that supports start-ups, and many of these are now beginning to access public markets as they grow. Several of them – Nykaa, Zomato, Paytm have listed on Indian stock exchanges.

Being privately held with a close set of involved investors is widely different from being publicly listed and the shift in behaviour, communication, and expectations requires different governance structures. To help companies navigate this change, IiAS is hosting a virtual event titled ‘The Start-up Boardroom: Building for the Future’. Uday Kotak has graciously agreed to be the keynote speaker and we have lined up a list of thoughtful panelists, those that have experienced and successfully navigated this change, and those that have seen companies transform.

This event is relevant for senior leaders in companies that are working towards an IPO, investors, lenders and research analysts. These are the first key set of stakeholders in the start-up eco-culture.
